Endowment & Legacy Giving

Supporting the Mission of Hot Springs Baptist Church—Today and for Generations to Come

Endowment and legacy giving are ways to support the mission of Hot Springs Baptist Church beyond a single season of life. Through our Endowment Fund and LEGACY Fund, faithful stewardship today helps strengthen ministry, care for church facilities, and prepare for future generations. These funds reflect a long-term commitment to the gospel and responsible planning for the years ahead.

Why Endowment & Legacy Giving Matters

For generations, faithful members of Hot Springs Baptist Church have provided resources that allow the church’s mission to continue well beyond their lifetime. Endowment and legacy gifts help ensure that future generations will have the same opportunity to worship, serve, and grow in Christ.

By planning ahead, individuals can leave a lasting testimony of faith, generosity, and trust in God’s work through the church.

Two Funds – One Mission – generations of impact

Hot Springs Baptist Church Endowment Fund

Established 2002

The Hot Springs Baptist Church Endowment Fund was created to provide perpetual support for missions and christian education. The principal of this fund is permanently restricted and is never spent. Instead, only the investment income is used each year.

Primary Focus
  • Local, state, national, and international missions
  • Christian education and ministry training
  • Scholarships and internships for those answering a call to ministry

This fund has been a tremendous blessing to the church for more than two decades, strengthening gospel outreach and discipleship efforts both locally and globally.

HSBC Quasi-Endowment LEGACY Fund

Established 2026

The HSBC Quasi-Endowment LEGACY Fund was established to support the church’s long-term capital, facility, and property needs. Like a traditional endowment, funds are invested with a long-term perspective, and the church normally relies solely on the investment income, while the principal is preserved.

Unlike a permanently restricted endowment, this fund includes carefully defined provisions that allow access to principal only in the case of a true emergency, and only with approval by the church body as outlined in the operating policy.

Primary Focus
  • Maintenance and capital improvement projects
  • Long-term care of church buildings and property
  • Financial flexibility as the church ages and ministry needs evolve
